Cause: Outstanding postpaid bills or unbilled usage accrued on current billing cycle.
Resolution: Pay all pending dues plus estimated unbilled charges at the nearest franchise before porting.
Cause: PTA regulations prohibit porting a SIM that has been active for less than 60 days on the current operator.
Resolution: You must wait until 60 full calendar days elapse from initial issuance or last porting event.
Cause: The CNIC submitted to the new operator does not match the CNIC registered on the existing SIM.
Resolution: Verify ownership via SMS to 668. Transfer ownership to yourself before attempting MNP.
Cause: The prepaid account has an uncleared emergency balance / advance loan.
Resolution: Recharge sufficient balance to clear the advance loan and maintain at least Rs. 10 positive credit.
